Anonymous does not support killing Facebook on November 5
It appears hacker group Anonymous has released anannouncement of their plans to attack and take down Facebook on November 5th, 2011. This time, their reasoning lies in Facebook’s privacy issues, and they are encouraging people to “join the cause and kill facebook for the sake of your own privacy.”Anonymous asserts that Facebook knows too much about you (citing this article and this article), and that it has been “selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world.”
